It has been five years since InstantCard was last required to increase its prices. However, with our supply costs increasing and a significant proportion of our costs impacted by recent import tariffs, we find it necessary to update our pricing.
We are therefore increasing, as of Jan. 1 2019, our base card prices by an average of 8%. The per-card cost for most customers will rise from $7.25 to $7.80. Those clients benefitting from volume discounts and from non-profit discounts will see a similar increase. You can see our new pricing structure here.
Please note that all clients who created their account during the past six months will be exempted from this price increase until July 2019. The new prices will apply to all other current customers, and to all new clients.
Before implementing this price update, we carefully reviewed the pricing of comparable services. InstantCard continues to be the lowest-cost service by a significant margin. Notably, we remain steadfastly committed to providing you the fastest service in the industry, with our same-day guarantee, and no additional fees for single-card orders.
We have been working hard to minimize the need for cost increases. We continue to invest heavily in R&D to bring you a constantly improved service, as many of you have noticed with the enhanced user interface introduced over the past year.
