Part-Time WordPress Web Designer

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a talented and creative WordPress Web Designer to join our team on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent part-time role. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing industry-specific landing pages using WordPress, with a focus on incorporating custom graphical elements in line with our established aesthetic. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with our team, contributing significantly to the success and growth of our online presence. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop industry-specific landing pages using WordPress. 
  • Create custom graphical elements and integrate them effectively into web designs. 
  • Collaborate closely with the lead designer to ensure consistency with the established aesthetic. 
  • Participate in weekly meetings and additional discussions as needed via Microsoft Teams. 
  • Stay updated with the latest web design trends and technologies. 


Required Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrable experience in web design, specifically with WordPress. 
  • Proficiency in graphic design, with strong skills in Illustrator or CorelDRAW. 
  • Strong knowledge of CSS. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. 
  • Openness to learning new tools and technologies. 
  • American nationality and ability to work remotely. 

Nice-to-Have Skills: 

  • Experience with the Avada theme for WordPress. 
  • Knowledge of JavaScript. 
  • SEO knowledge. 
  • Previous experience in similar roles or projects. 


Work Environment: 

  • Fully remote position.  
  • Flexible working hours.  
  • Small team environment with direct access to company leadership. 


Contract Details: 

  • Initial hourly-based contract for the completion of the first landing page, serving as a trial period.  
  • Potential for a longer contract to complete additional landing pages, based on the success of the initial project.  
  • Possibility of transitioning to a permanent part-time position (10-15 hours per week) contingent upon the success of the trial project.
