InstantCard’s June 2014 Newsletter

Come visit us at Safety 2014!

InstantCard will be exhibiting at the Safety 2014 tradeshow in Orlando, FL on June 8-11, 2014.  You can see us at booth 233 demonstrating our Credential Verification Service, focusing on the construction and oil & gas industries.

Our Credential Verification Service, or C.V.S. for short, allows anyone to verify and the credentials, qualifications and training records of an individual by simply scanning the QR code on their badge.  This allows worksite foremen to ensure that everyone is performing tasks they have been trained to do.

The service also ensures compliance, enabling easy site inspections by OSHA, DoL, or any other auditor.  All the worker’s credentials and certificates are available to be viewed straight on the inspector’s phone to make sure that everything checks out.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Do you know who’s on your premises?

Photo ID cards are an easy-to-implement tool to ensure that only authorized personnel are in your facilities.  Today, many companies are experiencing higher levels of shrinkage, and need to put in place additional, costly procedures to reduce this loss.  Badges allow everyone to be checking, on a continual basis, who is on-site.  An effective check-in/check-out process is a significant deterrent, as it allows a company to determine who was in the facility when a loss occurs.  It’s not surprising that photo id badges are used universally in banks, tech companies, utilities, and other critical-infrastructure environments.  Employee theft is the second largest source of shrinkage, after customer theft. Is your organization doing all it can to prevent loss from visitors and employees?

We’ve made shipping to Canada easy!

InstantCard has always shipped cards to our loyal Canadian customers but until now, requesting a drop-ship of cards to a Canadian address was complex.  We’ve now improved our shipping options at check out to make it as easy as for our American customers.  If you are shipping a card to Canada, simply select the Province in the State/Province drop down menu.  The country name will be automatically affixed after the Zip Code on your shipping label.
It is our goal to eliminate all hassle from your card ordering process so you can focus on the bigger things!
